World Malaria Day - 2015, AVD, Bakrol
The 25th April has been observed as Malaria Day in the entire world since 2013. In order to bring awareness and to educate the illiterate and the backward class of people in the society about malaria and to teach them as to how it can be prevented and controlled, an open house vast general seminar of people from surrounding towns and villages of Anand was organized between 8:30pm to 10:00 pm on 25-4-15 in the vast premises of Atmiya Vidhya Dham (a unit of YDS) at Bakrol in presence of saint leader P.Dharmakishor swami, P. Guruprasad swami and the president of Ambrish Society, Shri Vitthaldas (fuva) and Shri Mayankbhai Bhatt (Urban Health Department, Govt. of India).
In the beginning of the meeting Shri Mayankbhai Bhatt (Vadodara) attached with Department of Malaria, Urban Health Department, Govt. of India (Anand) informed in his speech that, our country is the biggest victim of this disease in the entire Asia. And then, through a Power Point Presentation he explained as to how, where and why this disease develops and spreads itself. He also deeply described and explained as to how do the viruses/bacteria of this disease enter into human body, what are the symptoms of this disease, what precautions should be taken to prevent this disease, how it should be treated, how to prevent its spread to protect this society from its attack and save life. He also emphasized on widespread awareness of all these points on the mass level among general public and showed how we can & should keep our surroundings neat and clean to control and prevent the spread of this bacteria/viruses.
To conclude the meeting, P.Dharmakishorswami talked about heartfelt desire of P.P.Hariprasadswamiji and said that, he desires that as we keep our body fresh and well by following these rules/precautions, we must keep our mind and soul also fit and fresh by developing and maintaining friendliness with good friends like pure saints. He also talked more in detail about this with real examples and showed the correct way to be really happy in our life through correct living on right principles and good company.
On this, everybody who attended the meeting, vowed before leaving, to keep his surrounding neat and clean to contribute in preventing spread of this disease.
