World AIDS Day - 2016, Halol
When more than 90 % of cases of AIDS are spread due to unprotected sexual contacts, to inform the students of young age about it and to prevent the spread of it among the future generation, Yogi Divine Society had organized this shibir. The rear and interior villages of Panchmahal where, the enough and required medical facilities are not available, Yogi Divine Society is providing the basic/primary medical services to the villagers with the help of a mobile medical van.
On account of the World AIDS Day, the 1st December, to spread the awareness about AIDS in the society, Yogi Divine Society had organized a seminar on Tuesday, the 20th Dec 2016 at Halol in which, more than 350 students, boys and girls, from Govt. I.I.T. were guided by Dr. Devendrabhai Pandya from institution’s medical unit by informing them about the reasons, the symptoms and the treatment of AIDS saying that, though, there is no 100 % cure for it as on today, he advised all the students to be careful in the matter.
By disproving with the help of scientific/medical facts, the wrong information advertised by media like face-book, what’s app etc.in the society about AIDS, he advised the participants not to get carried away by them and to keep away from spreading such misbeliefs.
This activity of preserving good health in the society by Yogi Divine Society was highly and whole heartedly praised by the principal and the teaching staff of I.I.T. as, it could save not only children just reaching the age of youths from innocently becoming the victims of diseases like AIDS but also those, who would come in their contacts.
