A volunteers’ shibir was organized in 2 sessions on Sunday, the 3rd July 2016 in Haridham, Sokhada in the presence of Yogi Divine Society’s president, P.P. Hariprasadswamiji and P. Mukundjivanswami (Guruji) who came from Delhi. In this shibir, around 3500 volunteers from Junagadh to Mumbai had participated to take the guidance from different speakers to spread/widen the scope of institution’s social services.

Speaking first in the first session of the shibir, Sri Jaybhai Brahmabhatt had explained as to what kind of expectations P.P. Hariprasadswamiji has from the volunteers by quoting the related incidents. Then, giving a few suggestions, P. Sarvamangalswami had explained how the benefits of the institution’s various social service activities can be taken/reached right up to the lowest class of people of the society.

Then, through a power point presentation, P. Brahmavihariswami explained as to how desperate a volunteer should be...... meaning, he should have a spirit of “nothing is impossible” and should be full of enthusiasm. Talking about his experiences with the youths, P. Suchetanswami said that, the present day youth desires love and sentiments, if we deal with him with atmiyata, a great and positive change can easily be brought in the distressed and astray gone youths.

In this session, P. Mukundjivanswami, who came from Delhi, had nicely guided all to serve on the basis of motto of Atmiyata given to all of us by P.P. Swamiji. Then, P.P. Hariprasadswamiji had excellently guided to serve the society in the best possible way by remembering the incidents of His Guru Yogiji Maharaj and by maintaining the spirit of Samp, Suhradbhav and Ekta among each other. Then, taking meals, all took a little rest.

Speaking in the 2nd session, P. Tyagvallabhswami talked about the various schemes for education, health, eradication of unemployment, sports etc. in various related fields launched by the government and inspired the volunteers to do needful in this direction to see that their scope is increased and their helps and benefits reach right up to the real, deserving people by showing the working for the same.

In the end, P.P. Hariprasadswami asked all to devote at least 1.5 to 2 hours daily for the social services during which, he said, we can do a lot of activities of constructive social services and, giving the examples of donations of grains, clothes, medicines etc., He said that, these are the donations which are visible/physical while, making the life of youths full of self-discipline by developing good culture in them is a minute/invisible donation and, He also called upon all the volunteers to see that, more and more children and youths participate in the cultural development activities conducted by the institution and take the maximum benefit of them all.

After this session, all the volunteers took meals and dispersed.
