Career Guidance Seminar for SSC & HSC Students - 2015, Ghatkopar, Mumbai
Under the auspices of Jay Charities and Yogi Divine Society, the Ghanshyam Pradesh (Mumbai) had organized a “Career Guidance Seminar” for the students of 10th and 12th standards on Sunday, the 3rd May 2015 at Brahman Samaj Wadi, Ghatkopar (West). Around 125 students participated in this seminar and took advantage of very useful and helpful guidance provided by different speakers in the seminar.
A seminar of 2 sessions, showing different options of careers in nearly 200 courses under Arts, Science, Commerce, Management, Engineering etc. faculties at different colleges and the possibilities and limits of services under them for students after the standards of 10th & 12th was organized.
Shri Jaykiran Kataria (MBA Finance, CFA), during the 1st morning session between 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM guided and answered the queries of the students on courses related to Arts, Commerce and Management faculties and about the colleges, the chances of services and their capacities/limits under them to the students after their 10th & 12th standards through a Powerpoint Presentation.
After this, during the 2nd session between 10:30 AM & 12 Noon, Prof. Manish Parmar (M.E. in IT, Pursuing Ph.D. in Computer Science) and Shri Rajesh Vadgama (Ph.D. in Biotech Technology), both serially guided, through Powerpoint presentations, the students after their completing/passing 10th & 12th standards, about the Engineering and Science and their connected options as to how they should choose/select their courses and which subjects.
In this seminar, Sri Mangalbhai Bhanushali (President - Gujarati Cell, Maharashtra - B.J.P.) also had specially remained present to motivate the students.
All the students were fully engrossed with keen interest in the entire program and they openly and heartily accepted that they have really received very useful, valuable and important information and guidance in this seminar while thanking the Trust, the organizers of the seminar and the speakers/lecturers in the seminar for arranging such a nice and excellent seminar free of cost.
