As an inspiration from present Guruhari P.P. Hariprasadswamiji and His blessings, a one day shibir/camp of children from Sanatan Pradesh was organized on Sunday, the 2nd Aug 2015 at holy place of Haridham, Sokhada, Vadodara in the presence of regional saint leader P. Harisharanswami and other 35 regional workers with an aim of establishing and developing good and proper culture among them in which, around 350 children had participated.

After reaching Haridham, all the children first of all took the darshans (sights) of Shree Thakorjee (God-Deity) and occupied their seats in Yogi Prarthana (Prayer) Hall sharp by 9.00 am in the morning. In the beginning of the shibir, P. Prasannabhai, the active worker of Bharuch, in his light, interesting and very entertaining speech advised every participant to develop good habits like not to see useless, worthless and wasteful TV programs/movies etc. and to develop and maintain friendships with good friends, to attend regularly the periodic/weekly, the religious satsang sabhas/meetings/gatherings, to give up laziness/negligence, always to get up early and remember God first and to interestingly/carefully do own studies.

Sri Milindbhai, in his speech, explained and narrated the benefits of following/obeying the suggestions, orders and the commands of our parents and also the good rules/regulations/systems of life based on and with the support of ancient Hindu religious/mythological stories and also told the children a few child-stories full of valuable guidance most useful to them in their childhood.

This was followed by a program of taking lunch.

In the afternoon session, the children were shown a video presentation of P.P. Hariprasadswamiji’s address befitting the children.

Then, the children fully enjoyed a different game of “One Minute Show”. While collectively playing these games, the children not only learnt the lessons of spirit of unity and sportsman spirit but, also experienced the pleasure of free laughter and freshness at their mind and heart. P. Vimalswami awarded different prizes to all the students who had secured more than 80 % marks in their last exams.

Thus, by the medium of this shibir, every participant student received knowledge with pleasure of games and also learnt the most useful and valuable culture of better and real life while practically receiving the ideal spirit of unity and Atmiyata, which is required most in the present day time.
