Tree Planting Campaign - 2017, Zarola
Yogi Divine Society, Haridham, Sokhada had organized a campaign of planting 101 trees in Zarola village on Sunday, the 18th June 2017 when, the saints P. Shrutiprakashswami and P. Krutarthswami from the institution also had remained present to explain to the villagers the importance and value of preserving the environment too.
Generally, the trees found more in villages as compared to in cities but, under the name of development and urbanization, they are cut indiscriminately resulting in the increase in temperature and gradual decrease in the presence of many living species from the earth.
The only solution to save the world’s environment from deadly effects of this, is planting as many new trees as possible and, to meet this requirement, the saints, volunteers and youths from the institution had, along with Govt. officers and renowned persons from the village, planted 101 trees in Zarola village to give a message for preserving environment to the entire society.
During this program, the regional forest officer Sri Jayeshbhai Patel, Dy. Sirpanch Sri Lakhanbhai Patel, Sri Sehulbhai Patel, the institution’s volunteers and around 50 villagers from Zarola also remained present. The youth volunteers from Yogi Divine Society had rendered their services like digging the pits, refilling them after planting trees and giving them the water etc.
On this occasion, P. Shrutiprakashswami had advised/suggested to all the villagers to plant trees near their houses, on the boundaries of their farms or in all the open/unused lands to protect environment.
