World Malaria Day- 2015, Maninagar
The 25th April has been observed as World Malaria Day the world over since the year 2013. On this account, to spread the awareness in general public about this disease and about the ways and means of curbing and avoiding it, the Maninagar Youth Mandal of Ahmedabad from Suhrad Pradesh had organized a meeting at 9.00 pm on Saturday, the 25th April 2015 in which around 80 gents participated.
In this meeting, Sri Jaiminbhai Gajjar, through a powerpoint presentation program, showed and explained to the people as to how does the Malaria develop, how do its bacteria enter human bodies, what are its symptoms, what precautions should be taken to curb this disease and side by side, he also informed/explained as to how we can prevent deaths in the society due to this disease and how we can prevent its spread by keeping our house and its surroundings neat and clean to reduce the molestation of mosquitos.
All the 80 participants decided to keep their residence and its surroundings clean before leaving.
