Yogi Divine Society, Sokhada had, on account of 31st May, the World Tobacco Prohibition Day, organized a seminar on Thursday, the 22nd June 2017 in Vatsalya Bhavan in Gotri area of Vadodara city to awake people against the harmfulness of use of tobacco in which, around 80 youths and gents remained present.

While informing the participants through a power point presentation about what is the World Tobacco Prohibition Day, why has it been celebrated and what are the serious negative effects caused by its use, a volunteer from Yogi Divine Society Sri Dharmeshbhai Pandya said that, it is excessively used in UP, Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Maharashtra, Gujarat and Rajasthan states of India as well as in villages of Saurashtra also in which, even the children are also involved.

When the devil of tobacco kills lakh of people every year in the world, it becomes an earnest duty/responsibility of every prudent citizen to convince the victims of this habit about the negative harmful effects of it and to encourage them to keep away from such habits.

The elderly volunteers like Sri Navnitbhai Patel, Sri Sachinbhai Patel, Sri Dilipbhai Nayee and Sri Naranbhai Rabari from Yogi Divine Society also remained present in this program and nearly other 80 participants had also highly appreciated activity by the institution promising to widely spread the message in society.
