World Environment Day - 2015
World Environment Day (WED) is celebrated every year on 5 June, to raise global awareness to take positive environmental action to protect nature and the planet Earth.
Nature is our mother and we respect towards our mother while continuing its existence Yogi Divine Society aim to help planet earth by and reduce global warming by planting the trees.
Under the inspiration and blessings of P.P. Hariprasadswamiji, the President of Yogi Divine Society, the saints, the devotees and the volunteers of Yogi Divine Society regularly carry out the work of planting trees to make their contribution towards remedies of this social task.
This year also, the elder saint leader P. Shastriswami and other Saints with the help of their volunteers and the youths of neighbour villages have planned to plant more than 200 Mango trees in the surrounding of nearby villages. And, as a part of this program, they planted on Friday, the 5th, June 2015, 11 Mango trees saplings at Boundry of Sokhada village.
Many people encouraged by this activity and helped us to save greenery from this world. In order to reach the maximum possible areas where we can do plantation, Yogi Divine Society have provided around 200 Mango Tree Sapling to the Youths of nearby villages to plant it to their surroundings.
