Clean India Campaign - 2017, Dabhoi

On Date: 26 January 2017

Under the Clean India Campaign, around 30 gents and youths from Yogi Divine Society had jointly cleaned the area from Tower Road to Vadodara precincts of the of Dabhoi village on Thursday, the 26th January 2017 to give the message of cleanliness to the local residents there.

When the P.M. of India, Sri Narendrabhai Modi has launched ‘Clean India Campaign’ at the national level, the gents and the youths associated with Yogi Divine Society had, through this activity, expressed their patriotism.

The area of Tower Chowk of Dabhoi is regarded as the heart of the city where, the making calls by the vehicles and public is comparatively found more. Even after 7 decades of independence, the awareness about maintaining cleanliness in the public places is seen to be very less in the people and they are found to be spreading dirtiness there. To stop this and to develop the attitude of cleanliness in the citizens of Dabhoi, Yogi Divine Society had taken up this campaign.

The gents and the youths had cleaned the area from Tower Chowk to Vadodari precincts and had collected the empty pouches of water and wafers, plastics, waste tyres etc. which are harmful to the environment including the dust collected on both sides of roads. This cleanliness campaign done by the volunteers of the institution was highly appreciated by the shop keepers there who also promised to now keep the dustbins in the public places and throw their rubbish therein.

In addition to the institution’s volunteers like Sri Bhikhabhai Tailor, Sri Baldevbhai Patel, Sri Gopalbhai Kachhiya, even Sri Rameshbhai Bhatiya (Principal, T.B. School, Dabhoi) also remained present during this cleanliness campaign to increase the spirit and tempo of the volunteers.
