Total 32 teams had participated in “Atmiya Tennis-Cricket Tournament” started on 31st January 2016 in the Sardar Patel Play Ground in Moti Ved, Surat. In this tournament, which continued for 2 & ½ months, the matches were played every Sunday. The volunteers of Yogi Divine Society had rendered their all-round best services throughout to make the entire tournament a great/grand success. The semifinal and final matches of this tournament were played on 24th April 2016 in the presence of several leading persons and the spectators and the winner teams of the final and the runner-up and the team which made a good show were encouraged by giving them the awards.

The 1st semifinal match was played between Disha Eleven (Nani Ved-Panima) and BIX Eleven (Ramnagar) in which, Disha Eleven had won. The 2nd semifinal was played between Rangila Eleven (Moti Ved) and Nepali Eleven (Mora Bhagad) in which, Nepali Eleven had won. A match of 10 overs was played between both the winner teams of semifinals in which, Disha Eleven had won the toss and, batting first, had scored 128 runs losing 9 wickets. Then, playing 2nd, the Nepali Eleven was all out making only 72 runs and thus, Disha Eleven was declared the final winner.

After all the matches were over, the program of distributing the trophies was arranged. Before distributing the trophies, while addressing all the political and the social leaders and the youths present there, the saint leader of Yogi Divine Society P. Guruprasadswami, while welcoming all the supporters in the organization of this entire tournament and all the players, had sincerely and heartily praised their Atmiyata and the spirit of own-ness. He had also appealed all, through the medium of this tournament, to take note of the social works like the protection/preservation of the environment, relief from addictions, planting new trees in the society etc. done by all the youths associated with Yogi Divine Society and to support/do many such more of the social welfare works and to continue them while taking support also from other general public from the society in such works. Then, the trophy was awarded to the captain of the winner team at the hands of saints and the main guests jointly. Even the best performer of the entire tournament, the man of the series, and the best batsman, best ballers and the captains of the runner up teams were also awarded encouragement prizes.

In this program of final match and of distribution of prizes, Shri Tulsidas Goti (Dharmanandan Diamond) was present as the main guest and the leading political-social leaders like Shri Anilbhai Biscuitwala (C.M., Health, Surat Corp.), Animeshbhai Mali (Min. Guj. Kishan Morcha), Shri Rameshbhai Ukani (Corp., Ward No. 7), Shri Jayantibhai Bhanderi (Corp., Ward No. 8), Shri Hiteshbhai Patel (Dharmanandan Diamond) and Shri Satishbhai Patel (Ex Corp., Nani Ved) also remained present.

On behalf of Yogi Divine Socity, the saint leaders like P. Subodhswami, P. Guruprasadswami, P. Sahajswami , P. Tirthswaroopswami and P. Anupamswami had remained present. The elderly volunteers like Shri Gordhanbhai Limbani, Shri Jagdishbhai Patel, Shri Narendrabhai Patel, Shri Kantibhai Patel, Shri Pravinbhai Waghela and along with the youth volunteers, a number of youths and spectators from Ved and different areas of Surat city also remained present to enjoy the program.
