World AIDS Day - 2016, Mahidharpura, Surat
On account of the World AIDS Day, the 1st December, to spread the awareness about AIDS in the society, Yogi Divine Society had organized a seminar on Tuesday, the 13th Dec 2016 in the assembly hall “Suhradam”, Moti Raghavji Comp., Lal Darwaja, Mahidharpura in Surat city in which, around 150 gents and youths from Mahidharpura area of Surat had participated.
In this program, the institution’s volunteers Sri Pankajbhai Thakar and Sri Anishbhai Rangrej had, with the help of presentation, provided information about AIDS like its deadliness, the reasons for our getting infected by H.I.V. virus, its symptoms and the treatment for it etc. by showing the related pictures and figures and, presenting the dangerous facts connected with AIDS, he said that, as per the figures of 2015, there are 3.5 crores H.I.V. positives living in the world out of which 68,000 die every year from India only due to AIDS.
At the same time, informing about the steps that can be taken to be secure from AIDS, he asked all to be alert in the matter and saying that, even today, when the science itself also doesn’t have any 100 % treatment/cure for it, explaining the slogan “Precaution is the best Cure” he requested the people to cooperate more and more in spreading the awareness about AIDS to curb its spread in the society.
Along with the renowned doctors from Mahidharpura Sri Ashwinbhai Vachhani and Sri Hardikbhai Ruparelia, the elderly volunteers of the institution like Sri Sunilbhai Thakkar, Sri Hiteshbhai Modi and Sri Rakeshbhai Rangunwala also were present in the shibir. Appreciating this activity of awakening public by the institution, participants requested to repeat the same.
