Table-Tennis Tournament - 2017, AVD, Bakrol
Under the Annual Sports Celebration program, Yogi Divine Society had organized, for the students staying in its Harisaurabh Hostel at Atmiya Vidya Dham, Bakrol a Table Tennis tournament on 11th February 2017 in which, 53 students had participated.
According to a saying “All Works And No Play..... Makes Jack A Dull Boy”, the games/sports are also equally necessary for students in their life along with studies to develop unity, sportsman-spirit as well as physical and mental fitness in them for which, Under the Annual Sports Celebration program, Yogi Divine Society had organized, for the students staying in its Harisaurabh Hostel at Atmiya Vidya Dham, Bakrol a Table Tennis tournament.
In this tournament, 53 students from the hostel had participated of which,
1. Divya Patel (Computer Eng.) from Surat secured 1st place
2. Chintan Patel (Mech. Eng.) from Surat secured 2nd place
3. Saumil Patel (B. Com.) from Vadodara secured 3rd place and
4. Zil Bhojani (Mech. Eng.) secured the 4th place.
On this occasion, along with the students from the hostel, P. Anandsagarswami, P. Prabhudarshanswami and Sri Ruchitbhai remained present. At the end of the games, a refreshment of Dhosas and soft drinks was also served to all the players.
Giving his opinion about these games, one of the students Atman Shah, staying in the hostel, said that, I got an opportunity to be a part of the games in different ways. They teach the students organization and management and side by side, they being organized/played in an atmosphere of sportsman-spirit, they help all to develop friendliness and atmiyata with each-other.
