Atmiya Sparsh - 2017, Kavath

On Date: 25 January 2017

Yogi Divine Society had organized a sabha in Kavath village of Sabarkantha Dist. on Wednesday, the 25th January 2017 in the presence of P. Brahmavihariswami in which, along with the elderly volunteers from the institution, the leaders and nearly 150 other ladies, gents and youths from Kavath village also remained present to take the benefit of P. Brahmavihariswami’s speech.

Speaking in the sabha, P. Brahmavihariswami said that, if there is any main road to peace in the house, families, society or the nation, it is only love. The main reason for break ups in any relations is lack of dialogue and harmony because we always look at others and attract misery for ourselves by expecting them to behave in certain specific ways and that only creates disputes.

He advised the parents present there to treat their children with love because, if we talk to them in angry or threatening language, they may not react immediately but, will become rude while also advising the children to duly respect their parents and to remain in touch with saints and volunteers from cultural centers run by Yogi Divine Society.

Talking about negative and destructive effects of Social Media on families, he said that, our culture talks of “Vasudhaiva Kutumbakama” while, in the films and TV serials based on Western Culture advocate for divided families under the effects of which, an individual tends to live separate and independent life without any social restrictions the cost of which is, a lonely life during old age so, even if, we have to let go something, we should accept it to maintain harmony and unity.

In addition to sirpanch, dy. sirpanch and the members of panchayat of Kavath village, the ladies and gents from surrounding villages like Narsinhpur, Boral and Bayad also remained present in this sabha.
