When, the president of Yogi Divine Society P.P. Hariprasadswamiji always/constantly does His best for the total progress/benefit/advancement of youths, Harisaurabh Hostel conducted by the institution at Bakrol, Vidyanagar also does everything for all the students, staying in this hostel while studying in various surrounding colleges, by regularly organizing various sport competitions for them every year in the hostel and encouraging them to participate in the same by also distributing to them the suitable prizes too and, one such program of Annual Sports Competition in various games for the students staying in Harisaurabh Hostel of Atmiya Vidya Dham conducted by Yogi Divine Society, Haridham, Sokhada was organized from 11th February 2017 the conclusion of which, was done on 18th & 19th February 2017 by celebrating “Annual Sports Day” in which, 155 students had participated.

In the beginning of the sports-function, a torch-light procession was organized in which, along with P. Anandsagarswami, the volunteers of the institution Sri Vinitbhai, Sri Prabhudasbhai, Sri Chandrakantbhai (Reporter) and Sri Satishbhai also participated. In his occasional-inaugural speech, P. Anandsagarswami, calling upon all the participants to observe total atmiyata with all during the entire event, said that, the games are only a small part of life and not the whole life so, victory and defeat, both must be accepted with the same spirit by observing real cordiality and, that only is the real celebration. And then, the games were started.

During the conclusion also, a few games were played by making groups of the students for a race of 100 meters in which 80 students had participated who were divided into 10 groups and, from every round, 2 participants were separated from each of them to play the finals in which, Param House Team emerged as the final winner.

In the game of spoon & lemon in which, the patience and concentration of participant can be really tested, 89 students participated of which, Jaydeep Patel was declared winner while Chaitanya Patel was the runner up. In the “Sack-race” in which, 53 youths participated and, Bhaumik Gandhi and Himanshu were declared as the winner and the runner up respectively.

A game of pulling the rope, which really shows the physical strength of the participants, was also played in which, 6 teams and 90 students in all participated in the final of which, Parmanand House and Pavitra House were the competitors but, the rope itself since got broken in between, both teams were declared the winners.

During this entire program, P. Anandsagarswami and the volunteers from the hostel remained present to boost the moral and enthusiasm of all the participants.
