Yogi Divine Society had organized a Volunteers’ Shibir on Sunday, the 2nd April 2017 in Parsana Zym situated in Bodakdev area of Ahmedabad in the presence of regional saint P. Brahmavihariswami of its Suhrad Pradesh in which, around 110 volunteers from Ahmedabad and Gandhinagar had participated and learnt the lessons of active cooperation/participation in social services.

The youths from the pradesh had welcomed P. Brahmavihariswami and P. Anupamswami present in the shibir by garlanding them in the beginning of the shibir. Then, while explaining as to which 5 points an active volunteer has to remember while doing social services, through a power point presentation, P. Brahmavihariswami had presented following 5 “P”s.

     1. Patience.

     2. Planning.

     3. Preparation.

     4. Practice.

     5. Performance.

For doing any social service, to work with cooperation with people from different levels of the society, a volunteer has got to possess patience. At the same time, he has got to do the pre-planning by collecting all the required instruments needed for the service he is going to perform in the society. Then he explained that, by doing advance practice of work to be done in future, we can easily perform the required service masterly whenever required.

The elderly volunteers like Sri Subhashkaka, Sri Pinkeshbhai, Sri Sandipbhai and Sri Girishkaka also were present in the shibir to boost the tempo of the youth volunteers and, all the volunteers also had got a new direction through this shibir.
