Ambrish and Volunteer's Shibir - 2017, AVD, Bakrol

A training shibir for local Ambarish and volunteers was organized by Yogi Divine Society at Atmiya Vidya Dham, Bakrol, Vidyanagar on Sunday, the 2nd July 2017 in the presence of P. Guruprasadswami, P. Brahmavihariswami, P. Anandsagarswami, Sri Viththaldas (Secretary) and regional elderly volunteers in which, nearly 500 ambarish, suhradayee sisters and youths had participated and had got guidance for reaching the benefits of institution’s social service activities right up to the last needy person of society.

In the beginning, Sri Vinitbhai had informed all the participants about the aims and objectives of this shibir. Then, the video message from the president of Yogi Divine Society, P.P. Hariprasadswamiji was shown in which, He explained that, for building a physically and mentally strong society, we have to develop a strong bridge of atmiyata with them and share their pleasures and sorrows for which, he also advised all the volunteers to guide them all to develop a positive attitude permanently in all the situations and advised all to fully dedicate themselves in the services of the society by following the motto, “Service to mankind is the service to God Himself”.

Addressing next, the regional saint from Ahmedabad (Suhrad Pradesh) P. Brahmavihariswami, narrating the incidents from the life of volunteers from different regions, defined as to who can be called the really dedicated volunteer. Advising all to work with unity and coordination among themselves, he asked to develop a right discretion in own thoughts, speech and actions.

The regional saint from Gyanyagna Pradesh P. Guruprasadswami said in his speech that, by doing all the social service activities in this region, the main and only aim of all of us is, and should be, to fully satisfy P.P. Hariprasadswamiji. Explaining the meaning of real and selfless services, he said that, they should be done without the expectations of anything at all and, while doing such services, the obstacles like people, enjoyments, our body/nature and group-ism should not stop us on our path of services as the real volunteers. He asked all, to constantly remember the slogan “Whether one becomes Atmiya or not, Oh Lord, I do want to be. So, please do give me the strength” put at the main entrance of Harisaurabh Hostel conducted at Atmiya Vidya Dham.

Sharing his long experiences of last many years, Sri Viththaldas Patel said that, the fragrance of social services done by Yogi Divine Society and its president P.P. Hariprasadswamiji has got spread all over the world today, the word “Atmiyata” has also impressed everybody in the human society everywhere in the entire world. Under the circumstances, it becomes our prime and sacred duty as a volunteer to see that by becoming atmiya, we all spread its fragrance more and more in the society and, guided as to what type of discretion should be there in our thoughts, speech and actions. Highly praising and congratulating dedicated volunteers, he said that, it is not an easy thing to choose this path and, you all have done it! it is really a revolutionary step.
