Ambrish Dixa - 2017, Haridham

On Date: 08 January 2017

The head and the volunteers connected with any institution can be regarded as its general recognition. Yogi Divine Society is engaged in social services since last 42 years with thousands of its veolunteers in the country and abroad today. Looking at, considering and experiencing the dedication, works and services by its president P.P. Hariprasadswamiji and knowing about His name and fame internationally and taking the inspiration from it and also studying/considering the life and works of His saints and the volunteers, the people are inspired to join them in their social services/works by dedicating their life for the same.

Thus, on Sunday, the 8th January 2017, 1733 gents/youths from Gujarat and outside had vowed/resolved in the presence of P.P. Hariprasadswamiji, the president and the elderly saints P. Kothariswami, P. Shashtriswami, P. Santvallabhswami, P. Premswaroopswami, P. Dasswami and P. Tyagvallabhswami of the institution Haridham to dedicate their life as “Ambrish” in the services of the society.

Everybody, uniformly dressed in cream colored shirt and gray colored pent, had collectively performed mahapuja with full discipline before Shree Thakorji first in the Dixa ceremony which started at 10.00 am and had resolved to mutually live their life faithfully always as per P.P. Swamiji’s life conception of Samp, Suhradbhav and Ekta and to give the first priority/preference to the social services.

Then, while blessing all the new ambrish, P.P. Swamiji congratulated them and inspired them to live life to preserve heritage of eternal Indian culture and said that, today, to prevent the youths from going on wrong/bad way and to drive them on the right way/path of the life in the society is also one kind of a social service only and, He further said that, to live with atmiyata among our family members and, as the volunteers, to properly guide our friends and neighbours, is also a part of our duty. While explaining the meanings/indications of the colors of the ambrish badge, He said that, saffron, white and grey colors serially indicate dedication, peace and pleasure/happiness and hence, it becomes our duty to spread these spirits in the society.

In this function of dixa today, in addition to the citizens from different states of India, the Indians staying abroad as well as 4 Germans from whom, the highly qualified foreigners like Mr. Oliver Schneidereit who has done M.D. and is working as an anesthesiologist and Mr. Klaas Waller who works as a high officer with German Govt. also had taken the dixa.

After the speech, all the new ambrish had resolved for the social services and left for lunch-prasad with new zeal and spirit.
