The 67th Republic Day of Independent India was celebrated on Tuesday, the 26th January 2016 with great pleasure and enthusiasm by Yogi Divine Society at Manjalpur in Vadodara in the presence and the guidance of its regional saint leader P. Praneshswami and other regional leaders and about 250 children. Remaining present on this occasion, many other high dignitaries of the city also had saluted with great respect and honour the tri-coloured flag, the sign of independence of India.

Along with developing, maintaining and promoting the spirit of pride, self-consciousness and loyalty towards our nation in the public, Yogi Divine Society also does a number of other social service activities in the society on regular basis. The volunteers of Yogi Divine Society had celebrated under the leadership of P. Praneshswami, the 67th independence day of Republic India. Around 250 children from the various Bal Vikas Kendras (Child Welfare Centers) run by the institution in different parts of Vadodara had gathered on the ground in the newly constructed “Atmiyadham” complex at Manjalpur, Vadodara at 8:00 AM in the morning.

The national flag of India, the flag of Yogi Divine Society and the saffron (Bhagvo) flag of ancient Indian culture, all the 3 were separately arranged of different poles. After saluting the flags on this occasion, everybody sang the national song ‘Jan, Gan, Man…’ with respect and honour to the nation.

Then, in his occasional speech, Shri Chinnambhai Gandhi (Congress Worker) explained the importance of republic festival. This was followed by a speech by the municipal corporator of Vadodara City Shri Kalpeshbhai (Jay Ranchhod) who explained to the children, the importance of cleanliness and made them take oath to actively work for the cleanliness campaign started by the P.M. of India, Shri Narendrabhai Modi.

While prompting the children for devotion towards God, the Guru and the Nation, P. Praneshswami narrated a few examples/incidents of P.P. Hariprasadswamiji’s love and affection for children. P. Niranjanswami had inspired the children to be helpful in the services of their parents, Gurus and the nation. To conclude in the end, the president of Bal Mandal, Shri Sanatbhai Mehta had thanked all.

The president of Bhagatji Pradesh Shri Chandrakantbhai and Shri Dhirubhai also remained present on this occasion. In the end of the function, the snacks and the chocolates were also distributed to all the children.
