As a part of their Atmiya Yuva Adhivation (Convention) to be celebrated/held on 3rd Jan 2016 at Surat, around 400 youths from Amroli, Ved, Katargam and Atmiya Yuvak Mandal had collectively, under the leadership and the guidance from P. Sarvmangalswami and P. Suchetanswami, the saints of Yogi Divine Society, Haridham, Sokhada, organized and carried out a Cleanliness Campaign during the auspicious morning of the new year on Friday, the 1st January 2016 of cleaning the Mandvi bank of Tapi river, the life line of Surat City, in which, the Corporator of Rander Division and the other prominent citizens from the local area had also joined.

Guruprasadswami and the saint mandal of Yogi Divine Society, Haridham, Sokhada, organized and carried out a Cleanliness Campaign during the auspicious morning of the new year on Friday, the 1st January 2016 of cleaning the Navadi bank situated at Nanpura of Tapi river, the life line of Surat City, in which, Shri Purneshbhai Modi (MLA, and city BJP president), Shri Madansinhbhai Atodariya (City Min., BJP-Surat) and other prominent citizens from the local areas had also joined enthusiastically.

While doing a number of social service activities in the society, Yogi Divine Society, Haridham, Sokhada also participates in many of cleanliness programs conducted at national levels and constantly works for developing national awareness for the same among the general public. In one of such programs, carried out in Jyotiba Fule Marathi School in Surat on 27/9/2016, the Volunteers of this institution had taught the lessons of maintaining cleanliness in the entire society to nearly 200 students/children.

The volunteers of Yogi Divine Society had cleaned on Friday, the 30th September 2016 the campus of Shree Gordhandas Ranchhoddas Chokhavala Primary School managed and run by Nagar Primary Education Committee, Surat and situated on Unapani Road, Lal Darwaja in which cleanliness campaign, around 35 volunteers and youths of the institution had participated.

In order to spread and increase the awareness about cancer as well as for its cure/treatment and its eradication from the entire world, the 4th February is being observed as the “World Cancer Day” on international level. On account of this, under their campaign of public awareness in the matter, Yogi Divine Society, Haridham, Sokhada had organized a public awareness sabha on Wednesday, the 17th Feb 2016 at 9:00 PM at night in Ankur Vidya Bhavan on Amba Talavadi Road in Katargam. In this meeting, Dr. Shaileshbhai Jethwa (M.D. Physician —Sardar Hospital, Ved Road, Surat) had given all the detailed and basic information and guidance about the cancer disease. Around 200 youths had received the detailed knowledge about this disease of cancer in this sabha.

Yogi Divine Society, Sokhada, Vadodara had organized a seminar on Thursday, the 18th February 2016 at Atmiya Farm, Nani Ved, Surat, on as to how to acquire and to maintain the good/proper health through ayurvedic which is not only of India but, of the entire world’s most ancient medical treatment. In this seminar, Dr. Kalpeshbhai had made conversant at least 150 ladies and gents about the various factors of ayurvedic medical treatments.

On account of 7th Indian Organ Donation Day, Surat Municipal Corporation and Surat Doctors’ Association had jointly organized a rally in Surat on Sunday, the 27th November 2016 for developing an awareness among general public for donating organs “ORGAN DONATION AWARENESS WALKATHON” so that, by donating the organs of a dead person, a new life can be given to the needy patients in which, in addition to the saints from Yogi Divine Society, nearly 190 volunteers also had joined.

A Yoga Camp was organized on 2nd, 3rd and 4th of Dec 2016 in the vast open ground of school No. 186 situated in the backside of Omkareshwar Mandir of Surat’s Moti Ved area as a joint venture of Yogi Divine Society, Haridham, Sokhada and Swaminarayan Gurukul, Surat in which, the Yogacharyas (Teachers) P. Yogdarshandasjiswami & P. Yogswaroopdasjiswami from Swaminarayan Gurukul, Surat had daily trained around 100 ladies and gents in yoga and provided knowledge about it between 6.00 am & 7.00 am with practical demonstrations.
