International Yoga Day - 2015, Ahmedabad

United Nations Organization (UNO) has declared 21st June as International Yoga Day. The Prime Minister of India, Mr. Narendra Modi is doing gigantic efforts to bring awareness about this in the general public. The Yogi Divine Society had celebrated International Yoga Day between 6.30 am & 8.30 am on Sunday, the 21st June 2015 in Lakhaji Kunvarji Hall, Bardolpura, Madhupura in Ahmedabad of Suhrad Pradesh. While giving basic and preliminary knowledge/information about yoga and pranayams in the beginning, the yoga teacher Sri Nilaybhai Mehta and Yogacharya Sri Vijaybhai Parsana said that, out of the best qualities of yoga is that it is simple, easy, achievable/attainable and affordable for all. It is a type of an exercise in which, there is no expense nor does it require any instruments. Yoga is very important to regain the utilized/spent energies of mind and body to keep them healthy and fresh.

After this, Sri Nilaybhai Mehta had demonstrated before all the participants different yogas and pranayams with the help of mike. In this program around 200 gents from Bopal, Maninagar, Ghodasar, CTM, Naroda, Shahibaug, Ranip, Jivrajpark and Gandhinagar areas participated and had received practical training of yagas and knowledge about maintaining good and proper health.

In this program, Sri Pravinbhai Patel,Chairman, Standing Committee and Sri Kanaji Thakore, Mun. Councillor, Ahmedabad Mahanagar Sevasadan also were present.

In the end, everybody resolved to make yogasans and pranayama a part of their daily routine life and dispersed chanting of Shantimantras. International Yoga Day –Sadhali (Sarvatit Pradesh – Shinor Division) The workers of Yogi Divine Society had celebrated

International Yoga Day between 8.00 am & 9.30 am on Sunday, the 21st June 2015 in the ground of S.C.A.Patel Arts College at Sadhali with the cooperation from S.C.A. Arts College and Bharat Vidyalaya in which around 350 ladies and gents from Sadhali and its surrounding villages participated to acquire basic training of certain preliminary yogas and fundamental principles of maintaining constantly the general good health.
